Grino is a project that started in early 2010 as a way for apeabe to branch out to new genres.
"At first I didn't know what was going to happen I just locked myself in the studio clicked record and played"- when asked about his new project. Interestingly enough the sound was of a very minimal nature. Being inspired by the great minimal artists of our time he wanted to develop his own sound, not shying away from experimental methods in music synthesis.
In 2012 he released his first EP Bello which was well received and got support from major artist like Orde Meikle, Anderson Noise and Paco Osuna . This allowed him to become more open and secure in the way he does music. He then followed with a collaboration with apeabe in the small release titled URDU. After the release of urdu, he went back in the studio to prepare for what would be apeabe-productions seventh release. In November 2012 Down Grown EP was released with support from djs around the globe.
