Abraham Martinez Hernandez (he/him/them) hailing from the rich cultural backdrop of Oaxaca, Mexico, is an entrepreneur brimming with the spirit of leadership and a deep understanding of key aspects within the modern cultural industry. He possesses a broad skill set in project and artist management, sound design, and creative production, spanning music, fashion, textiles, and culinary arts Abraham's musical journey began in Washington DC, ignited by his encounter with the internationally-renowned cellist and composer, Tanya Anisimova. Inspired, he took up the cello at seven, embarking on a lifelong passion for music. His path led him to Costa Rica, where he joined the National Costa Rican Conservatory and the national orchestra, tasting early success and deepening his love for music, eventually earning a degree in music studies. Seeking to expand his horizons, Abraham moved to Mexico City to further his education at the National Conservatory, before settling in Cholula, Puebla, to study Multicultural Relations-Law at UDLAP University, broadening his academic and cultural understanding. 2010 saw Abraham sail to Barcelona, Spain, where he pursued a dual degree in Audio Engineering and Music Business. In tandem with his academic journey, he brought apeabe productions to life, a brainchild that began as a record label and has evolved into a multidisciplinary creative and management venture, focused on pioneering new business development. His career took a significant turn in 2014 when he joined the ranks of the industry-leading booking agency, The Bullitt Agency. Three years later, he commenced a new journey with the renowned duo, Audiofly and its ventures; Flying Circus & Supernature. Since 2019, Abraham has been a partner at Underwater Events, hosting events in Madrid, Lisbon and Ibiza where they have crafted unique experiences, working with the industries top artists. His experience in management took him to work with an inspiring act:Husa & Zeyada under the Mystic Supermarket flag in 2020, showcasing his versatile talents and integral contribution to the event's success. Entering 2023, Abraham begins a new chapter with the Thank You Group Barcelona (Input, Les Enfants, and more to come) taking the helm of their bookings division - Just Waxx Talent. His leadership in this role underscores his commitment to the global underground scene, furthering his journey of innovation and transformation within the music and cultural spheres.
